3.2.2 Adjusting the Output Trays

Adjusting the Output Tray Guides
The Output Tray Guides is used to improve alignment of document in the Output Trays in a
width direction.
When setting mixed size paper, adjust the Output Tray Guides to the widest paper.
If you do not use the Output Tray Guides, spread them to the widest position.
NOTICE:
When using the Output Tray Guides, adjust them approx. 5 mm wider than paper
width. Or paper jam may happen.
When using the Output Tray Guides, following the direction below.
1. Slide the Output Tray Guide(L) to the right side.
2. Place the paper to scan into the Output Tray and align with the Output Tray Guide(L).
3. Adjust the Output Tray Guide(R) approx. 5 mm wider than paper width.
4. Slide the Output Tray Guide(L) to the left side.
