Attention:
You must enter the Setup menus and save changes to
complete the microcode upgrade. Press the Enter push button.
23. What you do next depends on what the name of the printer should be and
whether or not the printer should be connected to a Novell NetWare server:
• If the name IBMnetcolor is acceptable and the printer is not connected
to a NetWare server, press the Menu push button to exit the Setup
menus. Scroll to:
EXIT
YES
Press the Enter push button and scroll to:
SAVE CHANGES
YES
Press the Enter push button. The printer initializes and enters the
ready state.
• If the name of the printer needs to be something other than IBMnetcolor
or if there were connections in place to a NetWare server before the
microcode upgrade, use the instructions in “Configuring the IBM
Network Color Printer” on page 6–1 to change the printer name and to
review the connections to the NetWare server. You may need to
recreate the connections to the NetWare server.
Attention:
When you exit the setup menus, you must select YES to the
SAVE CHANGES option.
You have finished upgrading the printer microcode.
Note: Although the microcode is new, page count information, error log
information and most configuration information is saved.
