Choosing Parallel Setup Options
The following table summarizes parallel setup options.
Exiting the Setup Menus
While in the Setup menus, if you repeatedly press the Menu push button, the
printer skips through the other menus directly to this one. Use this menu to
save or not save the changes you have made and to exit the Setup menus.
If you accessed the Setup menus during a power-up sequence, the printer
will initialize your changes and continue with the power-on sequence. If you
accessed the Setup menus by pressing the Online push button, press it
again now. The printer initializes any changes you have made and comes on
line.

• If you will be sending TIFF files and PostScript files
in binary format, enter a number of seconds. Files
in binary format lack a unique end-of-file character.
For these files, the timeout will signal the end of the
file.
• If you will be sending TIFF files and PostScript files
in ASCII format, leave blank.
