Replacing the Cover and Connecting the Cables

Before you begin

Read “Electrical Safety” on page 3 and “Handling Static-Sensitive Devices”
on page 4.

Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools
or loose screws are left inside your computer.

Clear any cables that might impede the replacement of the cover.

Place the cover down on the computer frame as shown in the following
illustrations. Secure the cover by sliding it forward until the cover release
latch catches with the rear of the cover.

If your computer has a cover lock, you can lock the cover now, if desired.
