Access the IBM 2216 firmware to enable you to do initial
configuration. (See “The Firmware Interface” on page B-1.)

Create network interfaces for each port of each adapter that is
installed in the 2216 using the Add Device command. (See
“Adding an Adapter at Initial Configuration” on page B-4 for
information on using the “Add Device” command.

Run the “Quick Configuration” program to perform the initial
configuration and activate your IBM 2216. (See step 2 on
page 4-1.)
