Input Options:
Averages
Number of single overall values SiViB takes for calculating an averaged value before further
processing. If you have fluctuating values, try to increase the number of averages for getting more
stable readings.
Sensitivity
Pickup sensitivity. 100 coresponds to the standard input sensitivity of the input. Use this for correction
of sensitivity deviations of the particular sensor connected.
Example: A particular sensor has a nominal sensitivity of 100 mV/g, but the sensor you got has only
95 mV/g. Set the sensitivity to 95 and the software will calculate the exact true value for you.
Attention:
SiViB Record 1511 and 1512 have an input sensitivity of 10 mV/g for accelerometers. This
means 10 mV/g is 100% sensitivity. A sensor with 9.8 mV/g would need a setting of 98 in the
sensitivity field.
Offset
The offset value is added to the measured value of the channel. Negative offsets are allowed as well.
