Alarms Set 1
The alarms set 1 are activated when terminal 8 goes high (24 Volts). This could be used to set
different alarm levels for different operating conditions of the machine (idle / working or low speed /
high speed).
Events
The event level sets the trigger level for an event. Besides this, it switches alarm output C.
Event Trend Interval sets the interval time for event trend recording (see description below).
You can set different Event levels for alarm set 0 and set 1 (in the colons below the corresponding
tabs).
The following option “alarm active” is also important for the activation of event storage. Set all inputs to
active which should trigger events.
The button “Event recording alwas on” or “Event recording only if DigIn1 = high” allows you to make
event recording dependant on the status of the digital input number 1. Use this option to prevent false
event alarms for operation conditions where it is normal for the monitored machine to generate high
signals.
Outputs
Alarm active
Defines if the alarm outputs shall be switched by this unit / input. Activates the Event capture functions
described above.
Alarm delay
Defines for how long time an alarm condition must be present, before the corresponding alarm output
switches.
Alarm delay C delays the event recording too.
Alarm mode
Always = alarm output switches always if conditions mentioned above are met.
Only on Set 1 = alarm output switches only if conditions are met AND alarm set 1 is active.
Output level
Defines if the alarm outputs should be high (1) on alarm or low (0) on alarm. Using “0 on alarm” gives
you the possibility to check for broken wires.
