Performing inspection / maintenance

15. The element replacement process is

complete.

Calibrating the test liquid meter

Calibrate the quantity counter annually by gauging. To do so, proceed as

follows:

On the filter regulator, set the rinsing pressure to 2 bar.

Start a contamination test in the CTU software with a rinsing volume

of 5 liters.

Start a contamination test in the CTU software with a rinsing volume

of 5 liters.

Fill the measuring beaker using the hand piece (nozzle) of the CTU

by operating the foot switch until the set volume has been

completely discharged.

Read the volume on the measuring beaker. A deviation of +/- 5%

(4.75 liters … 5.25 liters) is within the tolerance.
If the deviation is larger, the meter has to be adjusted. Contact the

HYDAC Service Department.

The calibration by gauging is completed.

Calibrating the temperature sensor (ultrasound option only)

Calibrate the temperature feeler for the ultrasound bath annually. Contact the

HYDAC service department for this purpose.

Cleaning the analysis chamber

Clean the analysis chamber of the CTU1xx0 every week or the CTU1xx1

daily. For cleaning, we recommend a clean microfiber cloth.
