5 Setting up/assembling/commissioning
This chapter provides instructions on the setting up, assembly and
commissioning of the extraction unit.
5.1 Setting up the extraction unit
In order to set up the extraction unit, observe the following points:
– Release the brakes on the steering rollers and move the ex-
traction unit into the desired position with the installed rollers.
– The extraction unit must be set up on an even, level surface.
– When you have positioned and aligned the extraction unit,
press the brakes on all the guide rolls.
– Make sure that the cleanliness of the surrounding area, the am-
bient air and the temperature at the installation location are
similar to laboratory conditions, for details, see
Technical data
[ } 31] .
– Make sure that there is a minimum distance of at least 5 cm
between the rear side of the extraction unit and the wall or
other equipment behind the unit.
– Take note of the work area 1 m around the extraction unit
(right, left and at the front).
