7.5.2 Filling the test liquid / Filling the extraction unit

The extraction unit must be filled during initial start-up and during
operation if the test liquid level is too low.

NOTICE

Overfilling the extraction unit

The extraction unit does not work.

Add only the required indicated fill quantity for the test fluid.

Before topping up, calculate the maximum refill quantity according
to the following formula:

Volume

= Volume calculation

Initial filling

= 20 liters

Topping up

= 19 liters – Volume B1 – Volume B2

Filling the CTU1x3x

To fill the extraction unit/to top up the test liquid, proceed as fol-
lows:

Start the "Fill system" procedure in the user interface and fol-
low the instructions.

Level

≈1 liter

1. Owing to the design of the unit, the level sensor in the con-

tainer does not capture the container bottom. As a result, a
container content of 1 liter is always displayed in the user in-
terface.

2. Enter the previously determined and measured test liquid

into the system via the analysis chamber.

NOTICE! The maximum filling quantity is = 20 liters.

3. Then start the suctioning of the test liquid in the user inter-

face. The filled test liquid is suctioned into the pre-selected
container B1 or B2.

4. Wait until the test liquid is completely suctioned out.

The filling of the extraction unit is complete.
