Mute

Description

Mute provides the ability to temporarily turn off the Microphone on Speakerphones, the transmitter on the
telephone handset and the microphone of a headset, if the telephone is equipped with a headset.

Conditions

None.

Programming

None

Operation
To mute the microphone on a Speakerphone:

Press the [MIC/AT] button on the telephone. The LED on the [MIC/AT] button will flash.

To restore the microphone on a Speakerphone:

Press the [MIC/AT] button on the telephone. The LED on the [MIC/AT] button will light steady.

To mute the handset transmitter or the headset microphone:

While in the handset mode or the headset mode, press the [MIC/AT] button. The [MIC/AT] button will
flash. The microphone is muted.

Restore the transmitter or the headset microphone:

While in the handset mode or the headset mode, press the [MIC/AT] button. The [MIC/AT] button will be
extinguished. The microphone is operative.
