3. If the Power LED still does not come on remain on, power
cycle the terminal by unplugging the power cord from the
power source, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in.
4. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
Power LED is blinking
If the Power LED is blinking, take the following steps:
1. Make sure the DC power cord is securely attached to the
terminal. See Figure 26.
2. If securing the DC power cord does not solve the problem,
check all cable connections. Tighten any that seem loose.
3. If the Power LED still does not come on and remain on,
power cycle the terminal by unplugging the power cord from
the power source, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back
in.
4. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
The pedestal base
Follow the instructions below to place the terminal in the pedestal
base, or remove it from the base.
You do not have to use the pedestal. You can place the terminal in
a horizontal position if you prefer. If you do this, do not place
objects on top of the terminal. Doing so may damage the unit by
interfering with air circulation, which cools the unit.
1. Position the remote terminal and pedestal base as shown in
Figure 27.
Note: If the Power LED is not on, the other front panel LEDs
may not be on or may not come on.
