Ground points of the RTN 310 and PI:
Point 1: Ground the RTN 310 using a PGND cable.
Point 2: Ground the P&E cable using a ground clip at a position about 0.5 m to 1 m away from the port.
Point 3: Ground the P&E cable using a ground clip at a position about 1 m before the cable leaves the tower. If the PI is installed in the equipment room, ground
the P&E cable using a ground clip at a position about 0.5 m to 1 m before the cable runs into the equipment room.
Point 4: Ground the PI using a PGND cable.
Point 5: Ground the cable using the PI's wire clip after the cable enters the PI.
Point 6: Ground the outdoor GE cable of the PI using a ground clip at a position about 0.5 m to 1 m before the cable runs into an indoor or outdoor cabinet.

Use a box cutter to strip off a section of the
cable sheath. Take care not to damage the
shield layer.
Install and waterproof the ground clip. (See
the appendix for the waterproofing method.)
Ensure that the angle between a PGND cable and a P&E
cable is 15 degrees or less. If the P&E cable is routed
vertically, route the PGND cable from the top downwards.
Install a ground clip.
•Two types of terminals (ground bar terminal and U-shaped terminal)
are available for a ground clip. Select a terminal as required.
•If a ground clip is installed on a thin cable, secure the ground clip by
using the binding wire delivered with the ground clip.
