6.9 Log Management
Logs are the main information source for maintenance engineers to locate faults and they also
function as the basis for terminal users to collect fault information. When a fault occurs,
maintenance engineers and terminal users can locate and rectify the fault by checking the
generated log information.
Procedure
Step 1
Click
Logs
on the main page.
The log management page is displayed, as shown in
Figure 6-12
.

Select the date, start time, end time and log type on the left.
To set the language in which log information is displayed, select
Language
.
Step 3
Click
Query
.
The results are displayed on the right.

Click
Download all logs
to download logs. The
Log Download
dialog box is displayed. You
can view logs using the WordPad after they are downloaded to a local computer.
Table 6-7
describes the functions of logs.
The default name of the log file is log.tar.gz. You must change the file name in *.tar.gz format.
