HTC Sync

About HTC Sync

With HTC Sync, you can sync the following data between your computer and HTC
Amaze 4G:

Your stored contacts on Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, or Windows
Contacts

Appointments and events in Outlook or Windows Calendar

Photos, videos, music, and playlists

Bookmarked webpages

Documents and email attachments

Downloaded maps and useful add-on services for the Locations app on HTC
Amaze 4G

You need to manually turn these types of data on or off to start or stop syncing them.

Installing HTC Sync

HTC Sync requires USB 2.0 on your computer to connect and sync with HTC
Amaze 4G.

For trouble-free installation, first quit all running programs and temporarily exit
from your anti-virus program before you start installing HTC Sync.

Download the HTC Sync software for HTC Amaze 4G from our support website
(

www.htc.com/help/

) and install it on your computer.

From time to time, software updates for HTC Sync may be available. In HTC Sync,
click the dropdown arrow button beside

Setting up HTC Sync to recognize HTC Amaze

Connect HTC Amaze 4G to your computer using the USB cable that came in the
box.

When HTC Amaze 4G prompts you to choose a type of connection, tap

Sync

, and then tap

Done

. Wait for HTC Sync to recognize HTC Amaze 4G.

On the Device setup screen, enter a name for HTC Amaze 4G.
