5.1.2 Descriptions of functions
5.1.2.1 Installation directly to the heating system
As long as there is a heat take-off from the boiler that is greater than the minimum output and less than
the maximum output, the burner will shift between the 2 output levels, so that the boiler temperature is
less than the set point for the boiler temperature (under ”Boiler parameters” in the User menu). The
average temperature in the boiler is controlled by the high and low output hysteresis respectively.
The shift between high and low outputs can be adjusted by using the hysteresis for each of the output
levels.
The default hysteresis is 5 °C for low output and 10 °C for high output (under ”Low output” and ”High
output” respectively in the ”Service menu”):
When the boiler temperature is increasing, the burner will change over from high to low output
when the boiler temperature is 5 °C less than the set point for the boiler temperature.
When the boiler temperature is falling, the burner will change over from low to high output when
the boiler temperature is 10 °C less than the set point for the boiler temperature.
If the heat take-off from the boiler becomes less than the low output, the boiler temperature will increase
until the set point for the boiler temperature is reached, at which point the burner will stop.
The burner will not re-start until the boiler temperature is less than the set point for the boiler temperature
minus the hysteresis (under ”Boiler parameters” in the ”Service menu”).
The default value is 10 °C
If e.g. the set point for the boiler temperature is 70 °C, the boiler will not re-start until the boiler
temperature has fallen below 60 °C after the burner has been stopped.
