Unplug the cables from the card

Removing the PoweredUSB Expansion Card

To install a powered USB card, reverse the installation procedures.

NOTE:

If there is a panel covering the opening for the ports on the rear of the chassis, you must

remove the panel.

If a ReadyBoost module is installed, you must remove it in order to plug in the Powered USB expansion
card.

You may need to remove the power cable from the clamp on the chassis (see following image) so that
it will reach the power connector on the card.
