Chapter 6

Replacing Parts

Removing the Power Supply

Replacing the Power Supply

1. Place the new power supply into the chassis.

2. Connect the four power cables to the chassis connectors and the FDD.

3. Replace the four screws securing the power supply to the chassis.

4. Replace the cover.

5. Fasten the six thumbscrews securing the cover to the chassis.

6. Replace the external cables and power cord.

7. Power up the NetServer as described in Chapter 1.
