The Server Location

When you define ICA connections, the ICA Client Setup Wizard
uses a broadcast to locate a server configured as an ICA Master
Browser server. Since network broadcasts are not routinely transmit-
ted through routers, if the ICA Master Browser is on a different sub-
net to the thin client, no list of servers or published applications will
appear from which to make a selection.
The options on the
Server Location
tab enable you to add addresses
of ICA Master Browser servers on other subnets to make setting up
connections easier. You can create up to three groups of ICA serv-
ers:
Primary , Backup 1 and Backup 2 , as selected from the
Server
Group
drop-down list box.
To select a server, first select a
Server Group
then click the
Add
button.
Enter the IP address or DNS name of a Citrix Master Browser server
then click
OK
.
You can add additional servers to the list, and the other groups,
delete servers, and prioritize them.
