When the display is turned on, a Display Status message is displayed for five seconds. The message shows
which input is the current active signal, the status of the auto-switch source setting (On or Off; factory default
is On), the current preset display resolution, and the recommended preset display resolution.
The display automatically scans the signal inputs for an active input and uses that input for the display.
Mounting the display
The display head can be attached to a wall, swing arm, or other mounting fixture.
NOTE:
This apparatus is intended to be supported by a UL Listed or CSA Listed wall-mount bracket.
CAUTION:
This display supports the VESA industry standard 100 mm mounting holes. To attach a third-
party mounting solution to the display head, four 4 mm, 0.7 pitch, 10 mm–long screws are required. Longer
screws may damage the display. It is important to verify that the manufacturer’s mounting solution is
compliant with the VESA standard and is rated to support the weight of the display head. For best
performance, it is important to use the power and video cables provided with the display.
Removing the display stand
You can remove the display head from the stand to attach the display head to a wall, a swing arm, or other
mounting fixture.
CAUTION:
Before beginning to disassemble the display, be sure the display is turned off and all cables are
disconnected.

Remove the cord cover by pressing down on the latch at the top of the cord cover (1) and pulling the cord
cover down and away from the back of the display (2).
2.
Disconnect and remove all cables from the display.
3.
Position the display head facedown on a flat surface covered by a clean, dry cloth.
4.
Push up on the latch near the bottom center of the display to unlock the HP Quick Release 2 (1).
5.
Swing the bottom of the stand up until the mounting plate clears the recess in the back of the display
(2).
