RTC Battery

1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (

Section 5.3

2. Remove the Mini PCI communications card (

Section 5.8

3. Disconnect the RTC battery cable

from the system board.

4. Remove the RTC battery

from the system board. (The RTC

battery is attached to the system board with two-sided tape.)

Removing the RTC Battery

Reverse the above procedure to install the RTC battery.
