Getting to know your tablet
Your tablet features top-rated components. This chapter provides details about your components, where they
are located, and how they work.
Locating hardware
To find out what hardware is installed on your tablet, select the Search icon in the taskbar, type
device
manager
in the search box, and then select the Device Manager app.
For information about system hardware components and the system BIOS version number, press
ctrl

s
for tablets with on-screen keyboards or
fn
+
esc
for tablets with keyboards (select products only).
Locating software
To find out what software is installed on your tablet, right-click the Start button, and then select Apps and
Features.
Top
Identify the components on the top of the tablet.

White: The AC adapter is connected and the battery is fully
charged.

Blinking amber: The AC adapter is disconnected, and the
battery has reached a low battery level.

Amber: The AC adapter is connected, and the battery is

5 Gbps port with HP Sleep and Charge and
DisplayPort™ output
Connects an AC adapter that has a USB Type-C connector,
supplying power to the tablet and, if needed, charging the tablet
battery.
