5. Fault correction

5.1 IN-Messages

Description/Effect

Top up fuel
Storage container switch has been trigge-
red. Heating continues until the remaining
fuel has been used up.

The storage container is nearly empty.

a) BioLyt without fully automatic feed system: Fill the

fuel container with fuel (see sect. 3.3).

b) BioLyt with fully automatic feed system: The feed

system setting in the “Feed operating mode” is

feed off (see sect. 3.8.1.2). Set the menu point

“Feed operating mode” to “with enable time”,

“with start time” or “no time control”.

IN 582

Storage container empty
The storage container is empty. The burner

is locked out.

a) BioLyt without fully automatic feed system: Fill

the fuel container with fuel (see sect. 3.3).

b) BioLyt with fully automatic feed system: The feed

system setting in the “Feed operating mode” is

“off” (see sect. 3.8.1.2). Set the menu point “Feed

operating mode” to “with enable time”, “with start

time” or “no time control”.

The combustion chamber door is open. The
burner is locked out

No pellet feed possible. Boiler
does not start.

a) No pellets at the suction head - Set “Suction head changeover”

to “automatic” or change over to a different suction head (sect.

3.8.1.4). Press Reset key.

b) The feed hose is obstructed at the cyclone inlet or at the inlet to

the changeover unit - remove obstruction. Press Reset key.

c) Inform the Hoval Customer Service or the heating engineer.

Emergency operation: Switch off pellet feed (see section 3.8.1.2).

Fill the storage container with pellets manually. The boiler can

continue to operate without pellet feed.

FE 239

Suction head changeover de-
fective

No pellet feed possible. Boiler
does not start.

Press Reset key. If the fault reappears after the reset, contact the
Hoval Customer Service or the heating engineer.

Emergency operation: Switch off pellet feed (see section 3.8.1.2).
Fill the storage container with pellets manually. The boiler can
continue to operate without pellet feed.

FE 281

Flue gas temperature sensor
defective

The flue gas temperature can
not be displayed. No influence
on the operation.

Replace the flue gas temperature sensor and inform the Hoval
Customer Service or the heating engineer.
