The seed extractor should not show any
visible signs of wear, e.g. hairlining,
wash-outs.
It must be free of dirt. Dressing and
dust deposits would impair its function.
Stabilization Disk
A Stabilization disk has been assembled under
the metering disk.

2. Stabilization disk
The stabilization disk stabilizes the metering
disk. Shims may be placed under the disk
for compensating possible tolerances.
Always leave the shims in the same metering
unit and do not change their number.
Seed extractor
The seed extractor is mounted at the exit to the
seed tube. It interrupts the vacuum and ensures
grain transfer from the metering disk into the
seedtube.
