Strong Password Usage:
When changing network settings and password through an Internet browser window, it is
recommended to ensure the password used accomplishes the strong password
characteristics. From a networked computer, open an internet browser window. In the
address bar of the internet browser window, type http:// followed by the IP address of the
module. The IntelliDoX Login webpage is displayed in the browser window. Type the
username and password in the text boxes provided, and then click Login. The Enter Your
Network Parameters webpage is displayed in the browser window. For the password
selection it is recommended that new password is chosen having the following requisites:

Use a minimum of 8 characters length
•
Combine upper and lower cases of alpha characters
•
Use numeric characters
•
Special character usage
It is not recommended to keep the default account in the IntelliDox since its credentials are
openly described in the public product documentation.
Due to this is highly recommended to change the default username and password, keeping
the criteria described previously for the strong password creation.
Once the user has finished with the setup of network parameters the user should log out.
The log out can be achieved by clicking the save setting button once the network parameters
are properly entered, or by pressing Cancel changes if setting have not been set or not
properly set.
Never
leave the page without pressing the corresponding button since that
would avoid a log out from the device.
