(3) Connect the PC using HyperTerminal, ProComm, or equivalent.

(4) Set the terminal settings to: Direct Connect to Comm 1, 9600 N 81.

(5) Press ENTER to see the SDU main menu.

NOTE:

Refer to paragraph 1.A.(5) in section 1 for the periodic data word setup.

(6) Align the inertial reference system (IRS).

(7) Remove the cable from the SDU to the PC.

(8) Connect a cable from the HSU to the RS--232 maintenance port as given in

Table 5-2.
