System Startup

The message

Attaching a Camera

Unpack a compatible camera and place it on a flat surface.

Connect power as required to the camera (refer to the documentation that came with
the camera).

Connect one end of a BNC cable to the

jack on the camera. Connect the other

end of the BNC cable to the

jack on the HRDV rear panel (see

Figure 3-1

The monitor displays what the camera is viewing. This indicates a successful
connection.

This completes the initial system check. You are now ready to install your HRDV system.

Initial Installation Mandatory Steps

The initial HRDV16/8 system installation consists of the following steps:

Power up the HRDV16/8 unit and wait two minutes.
