FINAL REDUCTION OIL
CHECK
NOTE:
Place the scooter on a level ground and support
with the center stand.
Remove the oil level check bolt and check that the
oil level is at the oil level check bolt hole.
CHANGE
Remove the oil level check bolt.
Remove the drain bolt to allow the oil to drain
thoroughly.
Reinstall the drain bolt.
TORQUE: 10-14

NOTE:
Check that the sealing washer is in good condi·
tion.
Fill the final reduction case up to the proper level
with recommended oil.

CONTROL CABLE LUBRICATION
Periodically disconnect the throttle, oil control and
brake cables at their upper ends. Thoroughly lubri·
cate the cables and their pivot points with a commer·
cially available cable lubricant.
