OIL TANK

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the frame center and rear covers. (Section

1 1 )

Drain oil from the oil tank.

Disconnect the oil level indicator switch coupler.

Remove the oil tank.

Clean the oil strainer (Page 3-6).

To install, reverse the foregoing removal procedure.

Bleed the oil line after installing the oil pump (Page

2·3).
