Problem
Cause
Solution
Machine not working,
motor not running, and
status LED not lit.
Power ON/OFF switch in
the position ‘O’.
Set the power ON/OFF switch
to the position ‘I’.
Not connected to a power
source.
Connect the power cord of the
power pack to a power source.
No voltage in the power
source.
Connect the power pack to a
power source with parameters
specified in the technical data.
Controller overheated.
Set the power ON/OFF switch
to the position ‘O’ to turn off the
power pack and wait about 30
minutes. If the problem persists
at an ambient temperature of
5–50°C (41–122°F), contact
service center.
Punch not moving down
while DOWN button is held
after the machine is
connected to a power
source. Status LED
flashing every 0.5 seconds.
Machine not vented.
To vent, press and hold
STOP/UP button for about
3 seconds. LED flashing should
change to continuous light
indicating that the machine is
ready to operate.
The punch moved and
stopped while venting, and
the motor stopped running.
Status LED flashing every
0.5 seconds.
Voltage lower than 207 V
for a 230-V source or lower
than 103 V for a 115-V
source.
Connect the power pack to a
power source with parameters
specified in the technical data.
Incorrect parameters of the
extension cord.
Use an extension cord with
parameters specified in the
“Allowed parameters for
extension cords” section.
Extension cord is coiled.
Uncoil the extension cord.
Ambient temperature lower
than 5°C (41°F).
Operate at a temperature of
5–50°C (41–122°F).
Punch not moving up or
down, or not retracting
automatically after the hole
is made, even though the
motor is running.
High-pressure hydraulic
hose is not securely
attached to the machine or
power pack.
Unscrew the high-pressure
hose, reattach it, and tighten its
sleeve fully.
Oil level too low.
Fill the power pack with oil.
Punch not moving
smoothly.
Hydraulic hoses not
attached correctly.
Attach the hoses as described
in “Connecting the hydraulic
power pack” section.
Punch moving up and
down, but cannot
penetrate the plate.
Decrease in machine
power is felt.
Voltage lower than 207 V
for a 230-V source or lower
than 103 V for a 115-V
source.
Connect the power pack to a
power source with parameters
specified in the technical data.

extension cord.
