9.1 Ethernet
Interface
For the Ethernet interface use RJ45 plugs and twisted pair cable of
category 5 (CAT5) or higher, which consists of 4 twisted cores and has a
maximum transmission rate of 100 MBit/s (CAT5).

Ethernet Pin Assignment at the RJ45 Socket
Note:
The device supports the
Auto Crossover
function. Due to this fact
RX and TX can be switched. The following figure shows the RJ45
standard pin assignment.

Further Notes:
(1) The RJ45 socket is only for use in LAN, not for telecommunication circuits.
(2) With loaded EtherCAT Master firmware only the RJ-45 channel 0 can be used, the
channel 1 is deactivated. For the Open Modbus/TCP firmware with V2.3.4.0 and higher
both RJ-45 RJ-45channels can be used.
