3-5-2 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM CLEANING

The entire hot melt application system must be cleaned periodically to remove inner impurities
and charred materials that caused by high temperature. The following procedure should also be
used if the adhesive in the system is changed and old and new adhesives are incompatible.

CAUTION:

Some solvents may not be compatible with the hot melt adhesive, causing sludge

by mixing adhesive and solvent. Test the solvent with a small sample of the adhesive before
using it in the system is suggested.

1)

Please release rest sir pressure of dispensing nozzle when setting temperature is arriving.

2)

Put a container under joint between manifold, heating hose and dispensing nozzle.

3)

There are three ways to clean as below,

a)

Disconnect nozzle tip from dispensing nozzle and then start motor to drain glue out.

CAUTION:

When disconnect the heating hose, ensure the electrical connector is

disconnected otherwise equipment damage of severe electrical shock.

b)

Disconnect heating hose and electrical plug from dispensing nozzle and then start
motor to drain glue out form heating hose.

c)

Disconnect heating hose from manifold and then start motor to drain glue out.

4)

Turn off motor after all hot melt adhesive being drained out.

5)

Load new hot melt adhesive into melting tank, making sure adhesive is without impurities.

6)

Put a container under outlet of manifold and then start motor to drain glue out to make
sure there is no impurity in melting tank while all temperature is arriving.

7)

Turn off motor.

NOTE:

The best way to clean is to make glue circulation through melting tank, heating hose,

dispensing nozzle and manifold then back to melting tank for 15 minutes.

8)

Disconnect external power supply, re-install heating hose, dispensing nozzle and electrical
plug.

9)

Connect external power supply.
