Editing options (such as register or delete handheld transmitter) are available in
the control system by menu operation. A maximum of 150 handheld transmitters
(or individual key
functions) can be registered.
Displaying the number of transmitters 7.11.1
In order to carry out a gate action using a radio-controlled handheld transmitter,
the transmitter must first be made known to (registered with) the control system.
The number of registered transmitters (memory locations used) can be displayed
by means of this menu item.
 Menu: “RadioRemoteControl”, activate “Active transmitters”
The display shows the number of registered transmitters (or individual key
functions).
Registering new transmitters 7.11.2
The following pre-defined gate functions can be executed with
HERAS handheld radio transmitters using three keys:
1. Key top left “Gate OPEN function”
2. Key top right “Gate CLOSE function”
3. Large key in the middle “Gate STOP function”
Proceed as follows to make the control system aware of (register)
a (new) transmitter with precisely these functions:
 Menu: select “RadioRemoteControl”, “Register transmitter”
The display will then show the text:
The operator now has 20 seconds to press a key on the handheld transmitter to
be registered, in order to make it known to the control system. If the transmitter
is recognized, a memory location in the control system is used at which the three
key functions are stored automatically.
For 2 seconds the display shows the decoded numeric value of the radio signal
received and the memory location (position) where this transmitter was stored:
