5.1 Overview
This chapter contains all the information necessary for setting up the product.
During setup, the setup engineer (
Setup
) configures the product for use with the
measuring machine in the respective applications. This includes, for example,
setting up operators and configuring networks and printers.
Make sure that you have read and understood the "Basic operation"
chapter before carrying out the actions described below.

5.2 Logging in for setup
5.2.1 User login
To set up the product, the
Setup
user must log in.
Tap
User login
in the main menu
If required, log out the user who is currently logged in
Select the
Setup
user
Tap the
Password
input field
Enter the password "
setup
"
If a password other than the default password has
been assigned to the user, ask a
Setup
or
OEM
user for
the assigned password.
If the password is no longer known, contact a
HEIDENHAIN service agency.
Confirm the entry with
RET
Tap
Log in
