Retrofitting radio modules 

14.1

 

heatapp! radio modules 

Retrofitting of radio modules can be performed in two ways. 
• 

Using the 

heatapp!

 

app

 on a tablet-PC (recommended). 

• 

Using a PC / laptop and a 

heatapp! USB-LAN adapter.

 

 
Via the heatapp! App 
Where possible use the 

heatapp! App

 on a tablet connected to the customer's home network for subsequent retrofitting of 

additional radio modules.

Log in to the 

heatapp! app

 as a user with user role 

"Expert"

 or 

"Owner"

. 

2. 

Select the field "

Settings

". 

3. 

Tap the "

Gateway"

 symbol. Log in using the password you created. 

3. 

Tap on the menu item "

Radio modules

". 

Follow the instructions for teaching the radio modules. 
 
Via a PC / laptop 
The later retrofitting of extra radio modules via a PC / laptop is performed as described in Installation guide under 

www.heatapp.de/downlads

.

Third party radio modules 

 

The 

heatapp! gateway

 uses the established Z-Wave standard for digital home wireless systems for the wireless connection of 

heatapp! drive

, 

heatapp! floor, heatapp! sense

 and 

heatapp! repeater

. 

Therefore other Z-Wave certified devices can be programmed into the 

heatapp! gateway

. They then appear in the radio modules 

management of the gateway menu under "

Other radio modules

".  

Dependent on whether the third party device offers any heating-relevant functions, it can also be operated from here. Operation 
of such devices directly from the home screen of the 

heatapp! app

 is not possible. 

 

 

Note

 

The heatapp! checked components of other manufacturers are excluded from this regulation. These can, as described in the 
corresponding functions, be incorporated in the heatapp! system relevant to the regulation.
