Redundancy Role Change
Press these buttons on the display to change the system’s function in redundancy:
• Press

to change the bandwidth value.
• Press Enter to keep changes until you can Apply them on the previous screen.
• Press Cancel to erase your changes and return to the previous value.
You can set the Redundancy Role to Primary , Secondary , or Standalone . For interconnected
receivers in redundancy mode, you need to set one receiver to Primary and the other receiver to
Secondary . The Primary system becomes Active (begins receiving signals) when both systems
start up at the same time. The Secondary system switches from Standby to Active when the
Primary system fails or is powered off.
Both redundant transmitters, and both redundant receivers not directly connected , need to be set
to Standalone and are connected to an external controller.
Color Codes: White = currently applied value; yellow = value changed but not saved or applied.
Cancel: Press this button to return to the previous screen.
Note: If you make any changes to this screen, you must select Apply and press Enter on the
previous screen to save and apply changes.
Audio Mute Control (Receiver Only)
Select Audio Mute Control on the Redundancy Setup front panel screen to access the
Redundancy Role configuration screen (Figure 4-55).

Audio Mute Control Change
Press these buttons on the display to change the standby system’s treatment of the audio signal:
• Press

to change the bandwidth value.
• Press Enter to keep changes until you can Apply them on the previous screen.
• Press Cancel to erase your changes and return to the previous value.
You can set the Audio Mute Control to Pass Audio on Standby or Mute Audio on Standby .
The default is for the receiver, when in Standby mode, to mute audio signals (to drop the
