Process for updating program
5-3-1
* Work sequence of Updating Program are described below.
Refer to manual for setup steps of every particular items.
1. Install Updated EP-ROM at the ROM socket of CPU board.
Change dip-switch [DSW2 into OFF] [DSW4 into ON] of CPU board and turn on power.
Program will be rewritten automatically. 5-3-3
Re-writing of program
2. Turn off power.
Return dip-switch setting [DSW2 into ON] [DSW4 into OFF] of CPU board.
3. Change dipswitch setting [DSW1 into OFF] of CPU board and turn on power.
CPU board will be initialized automatically. 5-3-2
Initialization of memory
4. Turn off power.
5. Return dip-switch [DSW1 into ON] of CPU board.
Hold down [MENU] key of control box and turn on power.
6. Set memory check at maintenance mode.
7. Turn off power.

8. Turn on power. Checking of memory
[E-120] will be displayed. space and clearing all
9. Turn off power.
10. Hold down [MENU] key of control box and turn on power.
11. Set needle bar change at Maintenance mode. 5-5-1
(1th needle ”D” , 12th needle ”E” , Check ”F” ) Setting to detect needle
position
12. Run Auto speed setting at Maintenance mode. 5-4-1
(“B”) Adjustment of revolution
13. Terminate of Maintenance mode and check needle bar operation with key of control box.
