7.2.2 Group menu
Feed type
Selection of available feed types in the system which are currently connected to a silo. (settings under
Settings>Silos
see chapter 7.5.1).
Name
Group name in the system. The group name can be set to your own preference.
Day
Day number in feed curve in relation to the reference date set in the Animal menu (can be either positive
or "
-
" negative).
Amount (kg)
The ration for the "Day", listed in kilograms.
Milking parlour
If animals are fed in the milking parlour, the amount or percentage of the daily ration to be fed in the
milking parlour can be specified. This amount will automatically be divided between the number of
milking sessions.
Note: If the animals are only fed in the milking parlour, set the percentage for "milking parlour" to
100%.
Eating rate
The eating rate can be set per group. If the default value is selected, it will use the default system setting.
To deviate from the default, uncheck this box and enter the desired eating rate in (g/min).
Milking time
You can set a milking time per group if this, for a certain group, differs, from the standard settings.
