7.3.5 Gate/motor control
The motors and gates can be controlled manually from here.

Test:
The dispenser will complete a single rotation to test whether the dispenser still works
properly. A valve will be actuated for 10 seconds.
Closing gate no.:
The exit number which the closing gate is connected to; these
can be found in blocks of 3 at
the bottom of the Spider PCB.
Test:
Test the correct operation of the closing gate; the gate will be
actuated for several seconds
and close.
Auto:
If present, the closing gate will be automatically actuated and
will close.
On:
The closing gate will be actuated and will close.
Off:
The closing gate will remain open.
Disabled:
The closing gate is temporarily disabled.
Front gate no.:
The exit number which the T'port is connected to.
Note: this only applies to the FeedStation walk
-
through.
Test:
Test the correct operation of the closing gate.
Auto:
If present, the front gate will be automatically actuated.
On:
The front gate will be actuated and will close.
Off:
The front gate will remain closed.
Disabled:
The closing gate is temporarily disabled.
Note: the above functions only work when the switch on the L'port or T'port is set to "auto".
Select Auto (default) to close the closing gate automatically; the gate will close when feeding commences and open again once
the feeding process is complete.
