Cooking zones/mixed zones and sensors
The hob has four cooking zones. The cooking
zones (1) and (5) as well as (2) and (3) can
be combined with the mixed zones (8) or (7).
A sensor in the sensor field (6) is assigned to
each cooking zone/mixed zone.
The sensors must be clean and may not be
covered by objects.
Always activate the sensors with your
entire
fi
ngertip; not just the very end of
the
fi
nger. Your
fi
nger and the sensors must
be clean and dry for the sensors to function
properly.
Each time the sensor registers a touch,
you will hear an acoustic signal.

Pot recognition
A pot recognition function is installed in each
cooking zone/mixed zone. Pot recognition
ensures that the cooking zone/mixed zone
will be activated only if there is a pot with a
ferromagnetic base or another object made
of the same kind of metal located there. The
cooking zone/mixed zone becomes inactive
as soon as the pot or the magnetic object is
removed.
