Timer function
You can use the timer function as a tim-
er or a cooking time limiter for one or more
cooking zones/mixed zones.
The maximum timer setting is 99 min-
utes.
Use as a timer
The hob must be switched on for you to
use the timer.

1. Touch the timer sensor (15).

2. Swipe the slider sensor (14) to set the de-
sired number.
3. Touch the timer sensor (15) once again.
A “

” will flash on the display.
4. Swipe the slider sensor (14) to set the de-
sired number.
The blinking will stop after a few seconds;
the alarm time is set.
An audible signal will sound when the
alarm time is up.
Changing the alarm time
• Follow the steps described in the Section
‘Setting the alarm time’ (see “Setting the
alarm time“ on page EN-17), and then set
the alarm time again.
Countdown stop
• Follow the steps described in the Section
‘Setting the alarm time’ (see “Setting the
alarm time“ on page EN-17), and then set
the alarm time to “
00
”.
Use as a cooking time limit
To use the timer as a cooking time limit,
the appliance must be switched on and
the selected cooking zone(s)/area(s) must be
in operation.
Notes on cooking time limit
– You can set cooking time limits for all
cooking zones/mixed zones.
– If you have activated a cooking time limit
for several cooking zones, the red dot will
flash next to the cooking zone/mixed zone
with the shortest time setting.
– Once the cooking time limit for a cooking
zone/mixed zone is reached, this cooking
zone/mixed zone automatically switches
off.
– If all cooking zones/mixed zones are
switched off, the hob will also switch off
automatically after a few seconds.
Setting the cooking time limit
1. Touch the cooking zone’s slider sensor for
which you would like to use the cooking
time limit.
The heating level display begins to flash.
