Configuration #3 – STAND ALONE BOILER (NO DOMESTIC HOT WATER)
• A room thermostat is to be connected to terminals 5 & 6 (or 13 & 14, 57 & 58 depending on model). If no
yellow jumper wire is attached to 5 & 6 (or 13 & 14, 57 & 58 depending on model), which will be removed to
connect room thermostat, additional wiring is required. Consult factory.
• Connect any external sensor to terminals 1 & 2 (or 3 & 4, 28 & 29 depending on model)
(highly recommended)
.
In this configuration the following can be done:
1. Adjust the boiler minimum and maximum temperature setting via the potentiometer located on the display
panel, within the range of 95 – 195°F.
(Parameter 2 EB, 2 EA )
2. Outdoor temperature reset can be enabled by connecting a 10k ohm sensor to terminals 1 & 2 (or 9 & 10,
26 & 27 depending on model) –
this will be automatically sensed by the FMT 914; see instructions Page 5
of this manual.
3. Pump P3 can be controlled based on the Room Thermostat must add heating harness WRE74090 and
wire to P3 leads.
Caution: Maximum available wattage for external load on the FMT 914 control board
is 550 watts. If pumps P1 & P3 total less, they both can be powered directly off the board. If not, a
relay (240v coil) must be used for pump P3.
