8 Maintenance / Service

The clamping force tester TESTit is a measuring de-
vice and must be handled carefully.

NOTE!

Pay attention to the surface of the measuring
socket. Because of the clamping forces that
occur, it can be worn with frequent use.



Replace the TESTit at visible or measurable
signs of wear.

8.1 Subsequent storage of the clamping device

The clamping force tester TESTit must be cleaned
and treated with corrosion protection for subsequent
storage [see section »Cleaning«].

NOTE!

The storage conditions are specified in the
section »Transport, packaging and storage«.

Auxiliary material required:



Ester-free, non-polar cleaning agent



Soft, lint-free cloth

1. Clean the measuring head with cleaning agent and

a cloth; remove all oil and grease residues.
