Garbled display on the configuration terminal
Symptom
The configuration terminal displays garbled text when the router is powered on.
Solution
To resolve the issue:
1. Verify that the following settings are configured for the terminal:

Baud rate —9600.

Data bits —8.

Parity —None.

Stop bits —1.

Flow control —None.

Emulation —VT100.
2. If the issue persists, contact H3C Support.
System failures during operation
Symptom
A system failure occurs when the router is operating.
Solution
To resolve the issue:
1. Execute related commands to locate the fault.
2. If a configuration error is found, re-configure the settings or restore the factory-default settings.
3. If the issue persists, contact H3C Support.
Power supply failure
When a power supply is operating correctly, its status LEDs are green. For more information about
the status LEDs on power supplies, see

Symptom
A status LED on a power supply is off or not green.
NOTE:
After a power supply is disconnected from its power source, it is normal that its LEDs stay on for
several seconds.
