TRUCTION MANUAL
Congratulations on your purchase of GYMFORM®
ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLATINUM. Your safety is our
primary concern, so please ensure that you familiarize
yourself with all the information in this manual before
using your GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLA-
TINUM. It is essential that anyone who intends to use
this device reads and understands the instructions
provided. An informed user is a safe user. Thank you
for your purchase of GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND
PRO PLATINUM. We hope you enjoy your sessions.
WARNINGS
IF ALL OF THE ELECTRODES OF THE GYMFORM®
ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLATINUM ARE NOT PRO-
PERLY CONNECTED TO THE BELT AND THE
ELECTRODES ARE IN CONTACT WITH THE SKIN,
THE GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLATINUM
WILL NOT WORK. TO ENSURE THE DEVICE
WORKS PROPERLY, MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE
ELECTRODES ARE IN CONTACT WITH THE SKIN
AND ARE PROPERLY CONNECTED TO THE BELT.
Before embarking on any exercise programme, in-
cluding the GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLA-
TINUM, consult your general practitioner and your
physiotherapist.
Ensure that you read the instructions, warnings and
precautions carefully before using your GYMFORM®
ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLATINUM.
GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLATINUM is de-
signed for healthy adults. However, the device should
be used with care. Read the following guidelines and
instruction manual before using the product.
- Applying electrodes in the thorax area may increase
the risk of cardiac fibrillation.
- Using the GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLA-
TINUM while connected to high-frequency surgical
equipment may cause burns at the contact points of
the GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLATINUM
and may result in damage to the GYMFORM® ABS-
A-ROUND PRO PLATINUM.
- Operation of a short-wave therapeutic device or
microwave oven in the general vicinity (e.g. 1 metre
away) may cause instability in the output power of the
GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO PLATINUM.
- This is a powerful electrical muscle stimulation device
and may cause injury if you start with the most advan-
ced exercise programme right away. Start with a lower
level and gradually increase the intensity.
- Do not use on children or animals.
- Do not use while driving or sleeping.
- Do not use in the bathroom or in other places with a
high amount of moisture or humidity.
- The batteries should be removed from the device
before it is disposed of.
- The batteries should be safely disposed of.
- This device may be used by children aged 8 and
over, by people with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities, and by people lacking in experience
and knowledge if they are appropriately supervised or
given suitable instructions on the safe use of the de-
vice and understand the dangers its use entails. Chil-
dren should not be allowed to play with the device. The
cleaning and maintenance to be performed by the user
should not be done by children without supervision.
DO NOT use GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO
PLATINUM:
- If you have an electronic implant (such as a pace-
maker) or suffer from another heart problem.
- If you are, or think you might be, pregnant.
- If you have cancer, epilepsy or are under medical
supervision for a cognitive disorder.
- If you are breastfeeding.
- If you have a high fever.
Women: Before using GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND
PRO PLATINUM, you should wait:
• At least six months after the birth of your child (after
consulting your doctor).
• A month after having an intrauterine device (IUD)
fitted.
• At least three months after having a caesarean sec-
tion (after consulting your doctor).
• Until after the first days of your menstrual period.
Before using GYMFORM® ABS-A-ROUND PRO
PLATINUM, you should obtain permission from
your doctor or physiotherapist:
• If you suffer from back problems. In this case, the
device should only be used at low intensity levels.
• If you suffer from a serious disease or injury not men-
tioned in this section.
• If you were operated on recently.
• If you are diabetic and take insulin.
When putting on the belt, always remember:
• To place the large belt ONLY on your abdomen, obli-
ques and lower back.
• To place the small belt ONLY on the areas indicated
below.
