Mount the Battery Box and Control Box
Step 1
Remove the Control box from the Battery Box by
removing four screws as shown in
Illustration A
.
Step 4
Verify that the ON/OFF switch on the Control
Box is in the OFF position.

Connect the BATTERY WIRE HARNESS wires to
the battery --- RED wires to POSITIVE (+) battery
terminal and BLACK wires to NEGATIVE (–)
battery terminal.
The BATTERY WIRES from the CONTROL BOARD
should extend through the KNOCK-OUT in the
back of the CONTROL BOX. Plug the BATTERY
HARNESS wires into the wires coming from the
CONTROL BOX.
Connecting the Battery
Step 3
Slide the battery into position with the terminals to the right as shown in
Illustration C
.
Step 2
Mount the Battery Box using the screws (provided)
or another secure mounting method as shown in
I
llustration B
.
The battery/control box must be mounted at least 3
feet above the ground to protect it from rain splash,
snow, etc., and at least 3 feet from an AC power
source to prevent electrical interference.
