The camera's audio system will support "Talkback" features (please see note below) via ONVIF-
conformant Video Management Systems. Audio signals sent to the camera from a VMS are
available at the "AUDIO OUT" terminal on the Plus Board. These global settings can be used
to control the audio output levels according to the connected device.
The Talkback feature is enabled at a profile level, go to
Video /Audio >Media Profiles
. Select
your profile, scroll down to Audio talkback and toggle the button to enable it. Global settings for
this output are configured here.
V2.0.x firmware or above required to access this feature.
5.3.5.4.1 Audio Decoder
Select the audio decoding standard to be used for the output audio stream. Options include
G.711 and AAC.
5.3.5.4.2 Mute
The audio output is muted by switching on the Mute setting. No audio signals will be sent to the
"AUDIO OUT" terminal while this setting is On.
5.3.5.4.3 Volume
The output level of the "AUDIO OUT" terminal is controlled by the Volume setting. Adjust the
setting to achieve the output level appropriate to the connected device.
5.3.5.5 Save
Select
Save Changes
to apply changes made on the page.
5.3.5.6 Restore Defaults
Select
Restore Defaults
if you want to return to the pre-set defaults of the page.
Multicast - Summary Table
As Multicast settings are configured within a Media Profile the
Multicast
Tab provides a
summary table for easy viewing of all Multicast settings for the Camera. Any Multicast changes
made in a Media profile will be reflected in this table.
