The camera supports several color space modes to suit different Video Management Systems
and provide optimum performance on display systems. The camera provides the appropriate
flags in the RTSP connection, to set the video stream to signal which color space mode is used
and the display system should read the flags and use the appropriate color space for display.
Unfortunately, many display systems do not pay attention to these flags and may display the
video with incorrect colors if the camera is not set to their default mode. In this case, to avoid
incorrect colors, select the mode required by the display system. If you are not sure, use BT.601
Studio Swing. If incorrect, it will have the least harmful effect on the image. In Oncam's tests,
most display systems were found to use BT.601 SS regardless of the flags and so that is the
default setting.
Options are:
- BT.601 Full Swing
- BT.601 Studio Swing
- BT.709 Full Swing
Default is BT.601 Studio Swing.
