QuickSIN
The QuickSIN is a speech-in-noise test that quickly measures the ability to
understand speech in noise. The QuickSIN is comprised of sentences recorded in
four-talker babble.
The QuickSIN display has the Title bar and the Channel 1 and 2 Output sections
that are similar to what has been described for the speech displays.
Scoring Window
There are two scoring windows in the middle of the top section of the display.
The scoring windows display the calculated average of the individual list test
scores. The scores are separated for the ear, group, and QuickSIN sentence type
and are reported as the SNR loss. There can be two groups so that comparisons
may be made.
