Lithium Polymer
R/C Term
Rechargeable batteries frequently used in R/C for
powering an aircraft’s electric motor. A lithium
polymer battery offers lower weight and improved
run times when compared to other rechargeable
batteries.
Low Rates
R/C Term
A switch on the radio that reduces the servo
movement to much smaller extremes, thus making
the model respond more slowly to a given control
input.
mAh
R/C Term
Milliamp Hour – The measurement of a battery’s
total capacity.
Mixing (or Programming
Mixing)
R/C Term
Two or more output channels can be coupled
together to move in a desired manner when
controlling input channels are activated.
Mode
R/C Term
Also known as Flight Mode or Stick Mode, this
refers to the transmitter's gimbal stick assignments
(locations) which determine the flight mode of your
controller. There are two main modes of control,
Mode 1- mostly used in Europe and Mode 2 which
is the predominant method of controlling aircraft
commonly used in the United States.
Most Recently Used (MRU)
Computer Term
MRU refers to the list of documents which were
last accessed. For RealFlight 7, MRU’s appear for
airports, aircraft and recordings.
MultiMode
RealFlight Term
A RealFlight 7 feature that allows two users to fly
simultaneously on the same PC.
Multiplayer
Computer Term
A RealFlight 7 feature that uses Microsoft's DirectX
technology to connect with other RealFlight 7 users
over a network.
Multiplayer Session
RealFlight Term
A network connection between RealFlight 7 users,
which allows each user to fly in the same "virtual
world," and allows all participants to see and interact
with each other's aircraft.
